Marie grew up in Mississippi, where she fondly remembered spending time in her grandmother's garden. She leaves behind three children whom she loved deeply.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Janet Hammond and Bonnie Backstrom.
Marie was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace - forever young.
