Marie Bladecki Obituary
Marie Ann Bladecki passed away on April 22, 2025 at Bayfield Assisted Living with her family by her side at the age of 89. She was born to the late Leo and Anna (Lukaszewicz) Buda on May 3, 1935 in Bay City, Michigan.
A proud graduate of Central High School, Class of 1953. Marie was a devoted member of the Corpus Christi Parish - Holy Trinity Church, where she actively participated in the Altar Society. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her steadfast service and dedication to others.
Marie treasured the moments spent with her family, especially at Torch Lake, where laughter and love filled the air. She is survived by four children: Barbara Bladecki, Karen (Joe) Magalski, Michael, and Jill (Andy) Skrzypczak. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren, Kristie (Kevin) Lapplander, Michelle (Matthew) Bailey, Steven Magalski, Skyler (Richa) Skrzypczak, and Nicole (David) Freed, as well as her great-grandchildren, Daisy and Hugo Bailey. She also leaves behind two sister-in-laws, Janice (Jerry) Marchlewicz and Katie Buda, along with several nieces and nephews.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Bladecki; four brothers and two sisters: Paul Buda, Leonard Buda, Robert (Elaine) Buda, Floyd (Melba), Patricia (Tom) Jane, and Elizabeth (Frank) Keipert, as well as her sister-in-law, Charlotte Buda.
In addition to her role as a nurturing family matriarch, Marie enjoyed traveling, reading, and visiting the casino, activities that brought joy and adventure into her life. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to CorsoCare Hospice and Bayfield Assisted Living for taking such good care of Marie in her final weeks.
A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Corpus Christi Parish (Holy Trinity Church). Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to wishes of the family.
