Marie Bourbon

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Bourbon, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of our community, who passed away peacefully at the age of 86.
Born with a heart made for service and compassion, Marie devoted her life to her family and her town. She was the proud mother of two daughters and one son, who were the center of her world. Her love only grew with the arrival of her five grandsons, two granddaughters, and later her six great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her endless joy and pride.
For many years, Marie worked as a dedicated dispatcher and clerk at the North Bergen Police Department, where she was known for her kindness, reliability, and the warm smile she shared with everyone who walked through the doors. Beyond her work, she poured her energy into the community she loved by coaching recreation sports, becoming not just a coach but a mentor, supporter, and friend to countless children and families.
Known for her generosity, Marie had a remarkable gift for making people feel at home. Her door was always open, and her kitchen was always busy. Whether it was a holiday, a celebration, or simply a regular day, she was happiest when cooking for others and bringing people together around her table.
Loved by everyone who knew her, Marie Bourbon leaves behind a legacy of warmth, service, and unwavering love. Her presence made the community stronger, her kindness made life sweeter, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the countless lives she touched.
