Marie Delva

Marie Denise Delva was born on February 28, 1956 in Miragoane, Haiti to the late parents Deat and Therese Delva.
In 1972 she met her first husband Yves Marie Jasmin with whom she had her only daughter, Stephanie Jasmin years later. In 1988, she migrated to the United States. While there she found love again and remarried To Emmanuel Dardompre. Together, they had their son Kris Dardompre.
For over 25 years Denise worked at Brighten Garden Assisted living in Stamford, CT as a Nursing Assistant, where she used to enjoy helping the elderly. In 2015, her path crossed with the Lord, she got baptized and regularly attended the Body of Christ church in Bridgeport, CT.
Denise was a loving mother, a grandmother and a friend who loved to recount stories and enjoyed a good laugh.
She leaves to cherish her memories with her daughter, Stephanie Jasmin Monnelus and her son Kris Dardompre, one grandson, Jason Monnelus and son-in-law Robinson Monnelus; her three sisters: Armelle Virgile, Karline Maurice, and Martine Montilus; three brothers Phenor Delva, Peralt Delva and Michelet Delva and a host of nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she predeceased by her brothers Jean Wilfrid Delva and Sergile Delva and her sister Guilene Osias.
