Marie DeNotaris

Marie DeNotaris, wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother, just shy of her 100th birthday, of West Caldwell, N.J., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass will be held at Notre Dame Church, North Caldwell, on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at 10 a.m., followed by the entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery and Mausoleum, East Hanover, N.J.
Born in Newark, N.J., Marie lived in East Orange for many years before moving to West Caldwell over 45 years ago.
She was employed by Ketcham McDougall Co. in Roseland as compass assembly technician for 20 years before retiring.
Marie was a dedicated homemaker who loved to cook and bake for her family. She was the happiest when her family all gathered for a big Italian dinner every Sunday and on holidays.
She always put her family first and never hesitated to help. Her family was blessed to have her all these years, and her love and selflessness will be missed by all who knew her.
She was an avid Yankee fan, loved to crochet, play Bingo, board games, puzzles, entertain and travel.
The beloved wife of 59 years of the late Joseph DeNotaris Sr., she was the loving mother of Joseph DeNotaris Jr. and his wife, Joanne, Christopher DeNotaris and his partner, Christine, Debbie Gregory and her husband, James, and Tina Fraraccio and her husband, Robert; dear sister of Louis Nanna and his wife Maria, and the late Carmella "Millie" Cicenia and her husband the late Joseph Cicenia, and cherished grandmother of seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
