Marie (Moles) DiDomizio, 91, of Lansdale, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Thursday, October 31, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Alfred E. DiDomizio, her husband of 64 years, who lovingly cared for Marie for many years.
Born July 10, 1933 in Norristown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Laurence and Angelina (Tornetta) Moles.
Mrs. DiDomizio graduated from Norristown High School and was employed by PNB Bank. She then worked with North Penn School District in their food service department for fifteen years, retiring in 1996. She was also responsible for the accounting at her family business, DiDomizio Precast Products.
Marie was an active member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lansdale, for many years where she was a member of the choir and summer festival volunteer. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking, and going to the casinos with her friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her loving son, Larry DiDomizio (Liz) of Lansdale; two grandchildren whom she adored, Jenna Lea and Jayden; and her dear siblings, Anthony Moles of Limerick, and Palma Panichello of East Norriton.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Santangelo; and five brothers, Frank (who was killed in WWII), George, Harry, Charles, and Lawrence.
Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the adjacent cemetery. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Marie's memory to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
