Marie Fredmonsky Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Klein Funeral Home - Champions on Nov. 22, 2025.
With profound sadness, we share that our beloved Marie-who was witty, loving, kind, and the heart of our family-has died.

Marie's great joy in life was the people she loved. She carried her family with her always. She missed her cherished mother, Josephine, and spoke to her each night before bed. She also missed her beloved sisters, Margaret and Josephine, and her dear brother-in-law, Marty. She held close the memory of her first nephew, David, who brought such joy into her life, and she loved his wife, Anne Marie, as her second niece. She also kept in her heart her brother, John; her sister-in-law, Genevieve; and their son, John. Her "little shadow," her great-nephew, Aaron, brought laughter and music into her days. They shared "milky coffee," songs, and a bond that lit up her life. Her nephew Eric also meant a great deal to her, and she loved him dearly.

Throughout her life, Marie lived surrounded by love and gave it back freely. In her home with her niece Lisa and her husband, Joey, she offered comfort, humor, and a nightly ritual that will be missed beyond measure. Each night, she would say: "I love you. Have a good night and have a good day at work tomorrow. I will be here waiting for you." That love-steady, sincere, and constant-was her gift. The home she helped shape is forever changed without her voice, her humor, and her everyday presence. We who loved her will carry her with us always and will miss her each day of our lives. Marie gave love, and she received love. That is her story and legacy, and it is enough.

A private blessing service was held at the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor. Interment was in St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Old Forge.
