Marie G. (Laguerre) Julien, 60, died Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Boston Medical Center South. Born in Torbeck, Haiti, daughter of Gabriel and Sylvia (Jaboin) Laguerre, she was raised and educated in Haiti. She was a graduate of the State University of Haiti with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and later from Curry College for her Master of Science in Nursing. Marie worked as a Registered Nurse at the Boston Medical Center South and formerly the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, for many years.
In 1988, Marie married Pierre K. Julien and together they shared over 38 years of marriage and raised their beloved family. In 1991, they moved to the United States and to Mattapan. They later moved to Hyde Park and settled in Stoughton and 1999 to raise their family. In her free time, she loved to be surrounded by her loving family.
In addition to her husband Pierre, she is survived by her children, Roody Julien of Washington, DC, Jansen D. Julien and Herley D. Julien both of Haiti, Pierre Rodney Julien of Dorchester, Serge H. Clifford Julien of RI, Jonathan Odai Julien of Newton and Gabriella Lizabeth Julien of Stoughton. She is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 4-7 PM. Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Interment will be private.
