Marie E. Molea, 61
1964 - 2025
Boston and formerly of Lynn, MA - Marie E. Molea, age 61, of Boston and formerly of Lynn, died tragically on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Boston Medical Center. Born in Boston, in 1964, she was the daughter of Janet E. (Wall) Molea of Lynn and the late Frank C. Molea. She was raised in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Classical High School in 1982. She later went on to receive her Degree in Nursing from North Shore Community College. Marie worked as a School Nurse for Lynn Public Schools at Callahan Elementary School and also as a Registered Nurse for the Visiting Nurses Association, New England Home for the Deaf, and at Union Hospital.
Marie was known for her energy, humor, and caring nature. She was passionate about running and proudly ran the Boston Marathon twice. She cherished music, laughter, and time spent with her family, creating many joyful memories in her earlier years.
In addition to her mother Janet, Marie is survived by her children, Jaime Laino of Key West, FL, John Calnan and his wife Laura of Bonita Springs, FL, Keara Calnan and her partner Tom Giammalvo of Fairhaven, Krysta Calnan and her partner Joshua Gould of Acton, Jeremy Calnan and his wife Brenna of Wilmington, Christian Burt of Salem, and Gianna Molea of Westfield; her five grandchildren, and one on the way; her brothers, Frank Molea and his wife Linda of Lynn and Thomas Molea of Lynn; her aunt Kathy and her husband Bill Bates of Randolph, and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Service Information: A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 11a.m. in the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 67 Ocean St. (Rt. 1A), Lynn. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Memorial Visiting Hours will be on Saturday from 9-11a.m., prior to the Memorial Service.
