Marie Anne Myers

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Marie Anne Jennusa Myers, who departed from this world on June 13, 2024, in League City, Texas. She was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her and leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. 

Marie was born on February 21, 1937, in Port Arthur, Texas. She attended Bishop Byrne High School and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1955. She attended Lamar University and received her Phlebotomist and CNA certifications. She retired from Christus St. Mary Hospital of Port Arthur after Ten years of service, worked for Dear Care Home Health for ten years and Riceland Home Health for five years. 

She now joins her Father and Mother, Frank and Concetta Jennusa, her Husbands, Frank Cricchio, Dewey "Bob" Henson, and Harvey Joseph Myers, Son-in-laws James Franklin “Jimmy” Burks, William Powers Stone Sr. and her beloved Grandson, William Powers Stone Jr., as they await her loving embrace in the heavens above. 

Throughout her life, Marie cherished her roles as Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She is survived by her children: Tina Marie Cricchio Burks of League City, Texas; Frankie Anne Cricchio Stone of Cobbtown, Georgia.; Mark Edward Cricchio and wife Darla of Bridge City, Texas; Jonila Catherine Cricchio Trahan and Husband Kevin of Nederland, Texas; and Rochelle Elizabeth Cricchio Emamifar and Husband Amir of Smyrna, Georgia. She will always be remembered by her Ten Grandchildren: Brian Burks, Brianna Moore, Lauren Stone, Jordan Ozio, Colton Cricchio, Megan Trahan, Taylor Trahan, Ashley Landry, Nina Emamifar, and Nick Emamifar and nine Great-Grandchildren: Chase Vanderbilt, Hayley Burks, Lucille (Lucy) Moore, Jace Ozio, Jaden Ozio, Everleigh Trahan, Leighton Trahan, Harper Grace Landry, and  Graham Landry. Marie is survived by her Sister, Rosanna Jennusa Carroll and Husband Paul of Pearland, Texas. They will all carry forward her loving spirit and enduring legacy. 

She was an Eucharistic Minister serving Holy Communion to all in need, a member of the ACTS Community, and Adoration Leader at St. Charles Church. She enjoyed social activities such as the Red Hat Society, going to Dallas Cowboys games, cooking for her family, going out to eat, and dancing at the Pompano Club. 

Marie was a devout Catholic and will be missed by everyone. Her memory will be cherished forever. Her gentle presence touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Marie was known for always putting her loved ones first above everything. 

Services to honor and celebrate Marie's life begin Monday, June 17th with Visitation beginning at 10:00 am at Melancon-Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland. A reciting of the Rosary of Jesus will begin at 11:30am. Services will begin at 12:30 pm at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Nederland followed with a Catholic burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Twin City Hwy and 39th Street. The family invites all to continue the celebration of her life at a luncheon being served at St. Charles Parish Hall in Nederland. 

Marie Anne Myers will forever be remembered for her unwavering love, kindness, and grace. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all whose lives she graced with her presence
