Marie Pontrelli

Marie Pontrelli (née Antista), age 87, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, in Temecula, California. Born on January 20, 1938, in Los Angeles, California, Marie lived a full and vibrant life marked by dedication to her family, her career, and her many passions.
Marie built a distinguished career as a credit union executive, where she managed two corporate credit unions for Peerless Pump and FMC Corp. Her leadership and commitment to excellence left a lasting impact on the organizations she served and the colleagues who worked alongside her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ron, with whom she shared many cherished years. Marie is survived by her two sons, Ronnie (Fred Mannion) and Michael; and her beloved grandchildren Arty, Ish, and Peyton. She also leaves behind her brother Pete Antista (Dee), sister Jo Amburgey (Landis), and numerous nieces and nephews who will remember her with great affection.
Marie found joy in a variety of hobbies that brought color and connection to her life. She was an avid bowler and golfer, enjoyed painting as a creative outlet, and loved playing cards, all pastimes that reflected both her spirited nature and love of camaraderie.
She was also preceded in death by her father Gasper Antista, mother Congetta Antista, and grandmother Josephine Troncale.
