Marie R. Sherpinskas passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. She was born in Shiner, TX to the late Charles and Carrie (Pesek) Fikac on March 16, 1931. On November 5, 1951, she married Victor V. Sherpinskas. She was devoted to her family, raising five children, and cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She worked as a phone operator at Southwestern Bell in her early years, and she was a member of the KJZT and the Catholic Daughters. Her hobbies included painting, sewing, gardening, cooking, puzzles, as well as playing bingo and visiting with family. In her later years, she resided with her daughter Vicki and son-in-law Russell.

She is survived by her daughters Kathy Collins (Chris); Marie Graham (James); Sharon Terry; Laurie Adamcik (Michael); Vicki Holcombe (Russell); her son Michael Sherpinskas; and her grandchildren: Carrie Graham, Anne Terry (Chad Oliver), Jimmy Graham, Austen Adamcik (Whitney), Eric Terry (Jillian Alfred), Keely Peraza (Oscar), Ashlyn Snikeris (Jordy), Michael Sherpinskas II, Brent Holcombe (Marilyn), and Drew Holcombe (Lauren). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Victor V. Sherpinskas; her sisters Justina Mican, Henrietta Klekar, Marcella Klekar, and Albina Fikac; her brothers Leon Fikac and Charles Fikac; and her son-in-law Mark Terry.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Graham, Austen Adamcik, Eric Terry, Brent Holcombe, Drew Holcombe, and Jordy Snikeris.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation to be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel, 8819 US Hwy 87N, Victoria, TX. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 704 Mallette Dr, Victoria, TX. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 2201 N. Main St, Victoria, TX.

Memorial contributions can be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
