Marie Annette Simmons

Marie Annette Simmons, 82, of Prince Frederick, MD, passed away on November 15, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. On June 20, 1943, Marie was born in Hyattsville, MD to Wilson and Audrey Fairall.

Marie worked as a realtor for Caldwell Banker. She was dedicated to helping families find their dream homes, becoming a beloved figure in her community for her honesty and kindness.

In 1960, she married Russell Simmons and the two were blessed with five children, September Ferrante, Russell Simmons, Jr., Anne Weekly, Marie Hannabass, and Christopher Simmons.

Marie enjoyed spending her free time she loved to sew, do paper crafts, and spend time with her family. Her legacy of warmth, love, and creativity continues to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, and brother Wilson Fairall. She is survived by her children, siblings Audrey Gardiner, Bonnie Scott, Sue Cooke, Elizabeth Laschalt, Kathleen Tennison, and Robert Loumiller. She is also survived by her fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

All services will be private.
