A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Marie's life was a testament to the joy of family and tradition. She was the heart of every family gathering, known for her fantastic Italian cooking, her love of cake, and the warmth that filled her home. Laughter and delicious meals were staples of any occasion she hosted-especially when surrounded by those she loved.
Marie could often be found tending to her garden, particularly her flowers, or watching the birds from her porch. She had a talent for needlepoint, creating intricate, handmade pieces to commemorate anniversaries, and the births of her grandchildren-each one a cherished keepsake.
Marie worked for several years as a teller at Lincoln Savings Bank, where she was admired for her reliability and friendly presence.
Her legacy is one of love, warmth, and creativity.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 71 years, Sam, children and their spouses, Steve and Barbara (Tortora), Linda and Louis (Manzione), Maria and Chris (Buniva), Diana and Richie (Huber), and Laura and Kevin (Roth) as well as nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20 , where family and friends will gather to celebrate her extraordinary life.
Marie will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in the traditions she nurtured and the love she gave so freely.
