Marie A. Wilbert

Marie A. Wilbert, 82, of Tuckerton passed away surrounded by her family on December 28, 2025. Marie grew up in Auburn, Maine and was formerly of the Barnegat and Manahawkin area. She waitressed for many years at the Broadway Buffet in the Trump Plaza Casino in Atlantic City. She enjoyed life. Playing bingo with friends, scratching off her favorite lottery tickets and walking her neighbors' dogs. She baked a cheesecake that will be remembered by many, which included the well-known fighter George Forman, who ate her pumpkin cheesecake in preparation for his upcoming fight as published in Sports Illustrated Magazine in 1991. She cherished her moments with her grandchildren and great children.
Predeceased by her husband in 1998, George E. Wilbert, her daughter Tammy Wilbert and her grandson, Jarrett G. Wilbert. Marie is survived by her sons, William and George Jr., daughter Maureen K. Killian, 9 grandchildren David Pierman, Jennifer Pierman, Michael Killian, Samantha Wilbert, Bennett Wilbert, George E. Wilbert, III., Emily Wilbert, Abigail Wilbert and Olivia Wilbert along with two great-grandchildren, Ava Killian and Melinda Pierman.
Arrangements and private cremation are under the direction of Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, 335 South Main St., Barnegat, NJ 08005. A Celebration of Life will be held privately in January.
