Publish in a newspaper

Marilyn, a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, adventure, and unwavering love. Her life was a tapestry woven with compassion, curiosity, and dedication to those she held dear.
Born with a generous spirit and a heart full of kindness, Marilyn spent her early years as an active member of the Pequannock Fire Department Co. #2 Auxiliary, where she proudly supported the local fire department. Her commitment to community service was a reflection of her deep care for others and her desire to make a difference close to home.
Professionally, Marilyn brought diligence and grace to her role as a secretary for Pharmacia.
Marilyn's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She was a loving mother whose nurturing presence enriched every moment. She especially loved camping and the many adventures she shared with her beloved camping club, forging lifelong friendships and unforgettable experiences in nature's embrace.
Her love for travel always returned with stories, souvenirs, and a renewed appreciation for the beauty of the country in which we live. In quieter moments, Marilyn found peace in knitting and crocheting-each stitch a reflection of her patience and creativity. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them, whether sharing stories, crafting together, or simply enjoying their company. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, Louis Barthelemy, Jr. and his wife Bridget and Bruce Barthelemy and his wife Maureen; her sister, Audrey Csider; and her grandchildren, Louis III, Alissa and her husband, Dylan, Ashley, Thomas and Nicholas. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Louis in 2020.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated 9:30 am on Saturday, August 23 at Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church, Pompton Plains, N.J. Interment will follow at First Reformed Church Cemetery, Pompton Plains. A repass will be held at Pequannock Fire Co. #2, 24 Oak Ave, Pequannock, N.J.
