Marilyn Bedigian, of Township of Washington, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on September 8, 2025. She was 95 years old.

She is pre-deceased by her parents, Martin and Angel, her husband Leon Bedigian and her sister, Alice Brooke.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Loren and Michael Medina, Marla and Joe Mazen, and Dr. Martin and Lusine Bedigian; her grandchildren Danielle Verba and Melanie Medina, Andrew and Steven Mazen and Mariam Bedigian; and her great-grandchildren Theodore and Lillian Verba.

Marilyn was born on May 31, 1930, and raised in the South Bronx. She is a graduate of Walton High School, one of the first all-girl schools in New York City. Following graduation, she attended Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School and began her business career in the offices of WT Grant department store. At an Armenian cultural gathering in New York, she met Leon Bedigian whom she married in 1951, and she settled in Queens where she raised her family.

Marilyn resumed her career in the business world. She joined the Panasonic Corporation of America, where she would become manager of their consumer affairs division.

In retirement, she and her husband Leon travelled extensively, touring Armenia and Europe. Every year they spent the winter months in Florida.

Marilyn and Leon became parishioners of St. Leon Armenian Church after moving to New Jersey in the early 1980's. Marilyn was an active member of the Women's Guild for many years, volunteering and enjoying social activities such as card games. She volunteered extensively as part of the FAH (Friends of the Armenian Home) group of the Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Emerson, NJ.

Marilyn loved and enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren very much. She will always be remembered as the life of the party with her enthusiastic laugh.
