Marilyn and I met at a Donner Party sesquicentennial event in 1996. We spent a lot of time together exploring the emigrant trails, Plumas County back country and going to OCTA conventions. She was such a delightful companion and she introduced me to the "Ahhhh Quincy" experience. I am grieved that she is gone and my heart goes out to Sonny, her children and the rest of her family. I am so sorry for loss of Marilyn. I miss her a lot.

Marilyn and Sonny have been our neighbors for years and we enjoyed living by them. She was so friendly and helpful to us. Marilyn was a very positive and brave woman, even during her illness. We will miss her.

My beloved cousin, Time and distance separated us, but the love and kindred spirits always bound us. Memories of your childhood visits to Minnesota will be cherished. The hours of conversations meant so much to me. I am thankful that you found a beautiful love and were surrounded by your family. I will always love and miss you.

Auntie Marilyn meant the world to me. When she traveled to Minnesota to see family I was lucky to get a lot more quality time with her. She was always a huge support to me, but particularly so after my father passed away. I will miss our visits and our long phone calls. I will remember her laugh (which I loved), her candor, her love of history, of antiques, and Halloween. I will hold her close in my heart. To Sonny, Debbie, Steve, Nia and family - I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you can take comfort in knowing that she lived life to the fullest and left a lasting impression on those that were fortunate enough to have known and loved her.

My deepest sympathy on your loss. Marilyn was one of the first nurses I met when I started at PDH. We would laugh at our shared name and how many of us there were in our little town. We shared many experiences. I will always cherish her memory in my heart.
