Marilyn Blow, a cherished soul whose vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew her, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, at the McClure Miller Respite House. Born on January 15, 1954, in Burlington, Marilyn lived her life with a fierce determination and boundless love that resonated with everyone around her.
Throughout her career, Marilyn was self-employed as a housekeeper, a profession she dedicated herself to throughout her working life. Her commitment to her work demonstrated her hardworking nature and her penchant for taking pride in everything she did. Marilyn was known not just for her reliability, but also for her sassy personality and stubbornness; she always had to be right, and this feistiness endeared her to many.
Marilyn's kind heart shone brightly, and her warmth could light up the darkest of days. Her passion for animals was evident in her love for horses, dogs, and cats, all of whom brought her immeasurable joy and companionship. In her later years, she found solace in arts and crafts, expressing her creativity through various projects that she cherished. Music was another source of happiness for her, particularly religious and country tunes that resonated deeply in her heart.
She is survived by her beloved niece Crystal Billado and her husband Jeff, along with her great niece and nephew, Amanda and Mark. Together, they will carry forward the memory of a woman who loved fiercely and lived life on her own terms.
Marilyn joins her parents, Doris and Mahlon Willey, and her siblings, Marlene Beaudoin, Judy Ward, Wayne and Wally Camper, in eternal rest. Though they have departed, their memories remain vivid in the hearts of those left behind.
As we remember Marilyn, we celebrate not only her life but the love she so freely gave and the lessons she taught us about strength, kindness, and joy. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
