Marilyn Caouette, 67, of Newmarket, NH, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, August 29, 2025.

Born April 13th, 1958, in Lynn, Ma., she was the daughter of Lona C. (Franson) Britt and the late Robert B. Britt. Marilyn was raised in Nahant; she devoted her life to her family and her work. She was employed for many years at Analogic, where she served as an inspector. Her professionalism, precision, and strong work ethic earned her the respect of her colleagues and reflected the deep sense of commitment she brought to everything she undertook.

Following her retirement, Marilyn continued to demonstrate that same dedication in her personal life. She pursued a variety of hobbies, often with remarkable focus. Whether completing intricate puzzles or creating handmade crochet blankets, she approached each endeavor with patience, care, and attention to detail-qualities that defined her throughout her life.

Above all, Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and daughter. She is survived by her husband, Robert Caouette; her daughters, Ashley Touchette and her husband Benjamin Touchette, and Linsey Palmer; her mother, Lona Britt; her brother, Richard Britt and his wife Lisa; and her sister, Nancy Bucko. She will be remembered as a source of strength, guidance, and unwavering love for her family and all who knew her.

A private burial service for the family will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the NH SPCA in honor of her continuous love of her four-legged family members, and continued insistence that she will never get another pet yet still finding and bringing new ones home.
