Joseph L. Caouette Sr.
WOLCOTT We sadly announce the unexpected passing of Joseph Leo Caouette Sr. who died on Friday, May 24th at his home in Wolcott at the age of 61.
Born in Waterbury on May 23, 1963, Joe was the son of the late Joseph George and Rita (Ayotte) Caouette. Joe graduated from Wolcott High School and worked as an auto mechanic for several companies including Blasius Cadillac/Chevrolet and Auto Plus. Joe loved NASCAR, cars fishing and camping. He had a wonderful personality and will be missed by many.
Left to cherish his memory are his three children, Stephanie Caouette and her wife Amy Lakin, Brittany Caouette, Joseph L. Caouette Jr., his grandson Dylan Caouette and his two brothers Richard and Brian Caouette, his three sisters Patricia Bleau, Rita Legassey, Anne Lindsay and several nieces nephews and cousins. Joe was predeceased by his siblings Raymond, Gene and Florence.
Graveside Services will be on Tuesday, June 4th, at 11 AM in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hour is Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Woodtick Memorial 420 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. Visit www.woodtickmemorial.com for directions and online condolences.
