Marilyn Kay Colbaugh, of Delta, Colorado, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on December 28, 2025. She was born on June 29, 1934, in Eckert, Colorado.
Marilyn grew up in Eckert and graduated from Cedaredge High School in 1952. On May 1, 1953, she married Sam Colbaugh, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, faith, and devotion.
She was a lifetime member of the Eckert Presbyterian Church and an active member of the Eckert Presbyterian Women (EPW). Marilyn found great joy in working in the church and serving her faith community. She worked at Mr. Robert’s Clothing for many years until it’s closing.
Her favorite activities included golfing, playing bunko and dominoes, and spending time with friends. Above all, Marilyn treasured time spent with her family, who were the center of her life.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Colbaugh; her sister, Phyllis Wetterich; and her daughter, Patty Antal.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Max) Myers; her son, Mike (Mandy) Colbaugh; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Bobbie Jones.
At her request, no services are planned. The family requests that any contributions be made in her name to Delta HopeWest, 195 Stafford Lane, Delta, CO 81416.
Arrangements are under the care of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
Marilyn will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
