Marilyn L. Dailey, 86, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Marilyn was born December 4, 1934 in Spokane, Washington to Frank Kerr and Evelyn "Heilig" Kerr. She was a longtime resident of Carthage, Missouri. Marilyn was retired from Drake Health Care.
Marilyn was joined in marriage to Elgin Donald Dailey Sr; he preceded her in death on May 20, 2001.
Marilyn is survived by two sons, Robert L. Dailey of LaRussell, Missouri; Elgin Dailey, Jr. of Carthage, Missouri; two brothers, Grover Kerr of Othello, Washington; and Robert Kerr of Wanatchee, Washington; four sisters, Nora Lopez of Russellville, Arkansas; Sue A. McDonald of Russellville, Arkansas; Jane Moron of Richland, Washington; and Margaret Rocha of Othello, Washington.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband Elgin Donald Dailey Sr; a son Larry Dailey of Carthage, Missouri; her parents, Frank and Evelyn Kerr; and a brother Frank Kerr of Richland, Washington.
A funeral service for Marilyn is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow at Harvey Cemetery in LaRussell, Missouri.
