Marilyn Gail Drewry, aged 69, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on September 5, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born on August 15, 1956, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Robert and Hannah Drewry. Throughout her life, Marilyn dedicated herself to serving others, embarking on a meaningful career in adult human services. Her work spanned various roles within women's shelters and recovery centers, where she touched the lives of many with her compassion and dedication. Marilyn moved to Mountain Home from Southaven, Mississippi, in 2019 to be closer to her family. In addition to her professional endeavors, Marilyn had a passion for writing and drawing and enjoyed sipping on shirley temples. Above all, she was known for her kindness and the help she offered to those around her.
Marilyn is survived by her three children: Keesa (Matthew) Pool of Viola, Arkansas; Robert Tate of Coldwater, Mississippi; and Cindy White of Mountain Home, Arkansas. She is also remembered by her brother Robert Drewry, her sister Maggie (Jim Taylor) Claborn, and her eight beloved grandchildren: Matthew Smith, Mason Smith, Zakary Pool, Mariah Tate, and Gabrielle Jolly-Glaze, Kaileigh White, Bubba White, and Lainni Stanley. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Martha.
