Marilyn K. Fergestad, aged 79, of Lenoir City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on 10/14/2025 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Born October 17th, 1945 in Minneapolis to Joseph and Lorraine Zurbay, Marilyn was a devoted mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to her family and community. Marilyn was known for her kindness, generosity, good conversation and her love of animals and music. She was an active member of the Community Church at Tellico Village and was most proud of raising her family and her time volunteering at the animal shelter fostering dozens of puppies to happy adoptions.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Lorraine and her brother Joseph.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Gary; her brother, Dennis; her children, Michael, Lana, and Joanna; and her grandchildren, Parker, Justin, and Alex.
A memorial service will be held at the Community Church at Tellico Village on Saturday November 15th at 12pm EST.
