Marilyn Griffis, 80, of Austin, Arkansas passed peacefully at home on March 22, 2024. She was born on February 8, 1944, in East End, Arkansas to Dorothy and George Wilkerson. She was proceeded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived in death by her sister, Sadie Perkins; daughters Rosanne Mitchell and Denita (Jim) Arthur; son Brian (Candy) Wilson, and lots of beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In her spare time, Marilyn enjoyed spending time tending to her plants and flowers. She also enjoyed bowling and spent many years in a bowling league.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107).
