Marilyn Hammond Obituary
Celebration of Life is pending.
Marilyn was an ardent Hallmark and CMT Top 20 fan and loved giving everyone inspiration and the word of God through her daily social media 'Good Morning' posts. She had many hobbies and interests throughout her lifetime, but she held her family above all else as the most important to her.
Preceded in death by husband, Donald Hammond; parents, Lester and Florence Rathke; sister, Lyllis Schultz; and daughter in-law, Rosemarie.
Survived by her sons, Jim (Marian) Hammond of Wichita, Brad Hammond of Glen Gardner, NJ, and Doug (Danelle) Hammond of Sedgwick; grandsons, Paul, Johnathan (Angie), Matthew (Nomie), Daniel (Caroline); step-grandson, Tom Pappert; two great-grandchildren, Ellie and Macey; and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial has been established with First United Methodist Church Valley Center, 560 N. Park Ave., Valley Center, KS 67147.
Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary – East Chapel.
