Marilyn Hohenstein, 57, of Loveland, passed away June 8, 2010 after a six month battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on May 4, 1953 to Kenneth and Norma Lacey in Trenton, New Jersey. She graduated from McArthur High School in 1971. She lived in Decatur, Illinois before moving to Loveland, Colorado in August of 1978. Marilyn married Mark Gagnon in July 1972 in Decatur, Illinois. They later divorced. She married Mike Hohenstein in November 1979 in Loveland, Colorado. They later divorced. She worked for the Thompson School District as a bus driver and instructor. Marilyn worked at the VFW, Centennial Medical Clinic, Urology Center of the Rockies and various other businesses in Loveland. Marilyn loved to read, travel and loved motorcycles. She was a member of VFW – Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her ex-husband, Mike Hohenstein of Loveland, Colorado; father, Kenneth Lacey of Illinois; daughter, Jenny Riley and husband Kody of Loveland, Colorado; 4 grandchildren, Taylor, Sami, Austin and Justin. Marilyn was preceded in death by her mother. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 15 at Crossroads Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice or the House of Neighborly Service.

So sorry to hear about Marilyn. I worked with Marilyn at Transportation and will always remember her. She was a great gal with a fun-loving personality. I will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time. Remember the good times you shared and keep her close to your heart.
