Marilyn Jones, beloved wife, mother, and homemaker, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2024, at the age of 83, in Forney, Texas.
Born on July 8, 1941, in Taft, California, Marilyn lived a vibrant life filled with love and adventure. She married her High School sweetheart Bob Jones on June 26, 1959, and together they built a life centered around family and cherished memories.
Marilyn was a dedicated homemaker and mother who found joy in caring for her family. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. Beyond her roles at home, Marilyn had a zest for life and pursued her passions with enthusiasm. She loved bowling, water skiing, and snow skiing, finding solace and excitement in these activities throughout her life's journey.
Throughout their marriage, Marilyn and Bob lived in various places, and traveled to some exotic and faraway places.
Marilyn is survived by her son Robb Jones and his wife Lesa, grandson Casey, daughter-in-law Amy Jones, and granddaughters Elizabeth and Max. Her family meant everything to her, and she leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be treasured.
Marilyn Jones will be remembered for her loving spirit, her adventurous nature, and the unwavering devotion she showed to the Lord, her family and friends. She has left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial service will be held at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Saturday August 10, 2024, with visitation from 10-12 and a 12pm service.
Rest in peace, Marilyn. Your presence in our lives will be deeply missed, but your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
