Marilyn Keesal Obituary
Marilyn (Goldfine) Keesal, 83, of North East Philadelphia died July 4th, 2025.
Marilyn was born in Philadelphia in 1941 to Estelle (Karmel) and Raymond Golfdine and was predeceased by her brother Herbert L Goldfine.
Marilyn attended Wagner Middle School and Olney High School graduating in 1959
She then received a Bachelor’s and later a Master’s degree from Temple University in early education.
Marilyn taught elementary school at Phillip H. Sheridan in Philadelphia for her entire teaching career where was loved and respected by staff and students for over two generations.
Marilyn was a lifelong student and enjoyed Jewish studies and attending events and classes around the city or at local Synagogues.
She loved plays, music, concerts, and traveling to AC or NYC along with her long-term partner of 43 years Dr Melvin Yudis.
Marilyn is survived by one daughter, Shari Keesal Klevit, two grandchildren, Zachary and Sophia Klevit, many friends and loved ones.
