Marilyn F. (Roach) Killila

1938 - 2026

Marilyn F. (Roach) Killila, age 87, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026. She was born in Indianapolis on June 16, 1938, to John and Helen (Sellmeyer) Roach. She graduated from St. Mary Academy in 1956 and studied at Marian College. She married Richard "Dick" Killila on June 22, 1974, in Indianapolis. They spent 37 wonderful years together before his passing in 2012.

Marilyn worked for Mock & Morris as an office manager for 25 years. She also worked at Indianapolis Office Supply for 25 years. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and was a leader of the Season of Hope Bereavement Group.

Marilyn grew up an avid lover of sports. She could always be seen watching football, baseball and basketball. Her all-time favorite baseball team was the Chicago Cubs. She enjoyed eating out with friends and classmates, and volunteering at the food pantry.

She is survived by her son, Thomas (Lisa) Killila; granddaughter, Kennedy Killila; and sisters, Margaret Otte and Kathleen McGee. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and twin sister, Carolyn Mueller.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at St. Michael Catholic Church, 519 Jefferson Blvd., Greenfield, Indiana 46140. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 12:00 p.m. Father Aaron Jenkins will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church. Envelopes will be available at the church.
