Marilyn Harriet (Rein) Ledford-Wolf, of Matawan, New Jersey, born on July 20, 1931 in New York, New York, to the late Sophia (Swift) Rein and the late William Rein, passed away at age 87 on April 22, 2019 in Carmel, Indiana. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Ledford for 40 years, who died in 1993. Marilyn later married the late Archie Wolf of Spring Hill, FL in 2005. She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Eloise Rein, and her stepbrother, Duane Pelton. After raising her family, Marilyn attended Rutgers University in New Jersey, graduating in 1981. She worked in accounting at Johnson and Johnson until retiring in 1997. Marilyn is survived by her sons, Edward Ledford III ( Ann) and William Ledford; grandchildren, William Ledford Jr. ( Breanna), Scott Ledford, Katharine (Ledford) Warfield (Erik), Sarah (Ledford) Compagna (Paul), and Edward Ledford IV (Kaitlyn Fitzgerald), as well as great-grandchildren, Zoey Ledford and Amelia Ledford. Marilyn had a passion to assist seniors as a tax preparation volunteer and loved the computer club of Spring Hill. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working on all kinds of puzzles. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at The Barrington of Carmel, IN for their loving care of Marilyn. In lieu of flowers, the family invites family and friends to make donations in Marilyn's name to The Alzheimer's Association, Crisis Support Services of Nevada or The Epilepsy Foundation. A private celebration of life will be held in New Jersey at a date to be determined.
