Marilyn A. Lucic, 96 of Elyria passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the Wesleyan Village where she had lived for the past 11 years. She had graduated from Ursuline College in 1981 and went on to start a library in the boiler room at St. Mary of the Falls School. Over the years, it developed into a full library and she was the proud Librarian of it. Marilyn’s house was THE gathering place for friends and family. Her specialty was taking care of others and always staying in touch. Marilyn loved tea parties, everything purple, and anything bears.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Chris Ritter (Beverly); stepchildren, Gary Lucic (Rose), Laura Lucic, Patty Lucic, and Jim Lucic (Kathy); grandchildren, Devon Ritter, Emily Ritter, Krista Gemmel, and Oliver Ritter; step grandchildren, Pamela, Charlotte, and Beth; 7 great grandchildren; and 3 step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Marie Starinsky; son, David Ritter; second husband, Nick Lucic; sister, Joan Koehmstedt; and brothers, Michael and Bill Starinsky.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 27 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Church, 320 Middle Avenue, Elyria, with a luncheon to follow.
