PARAGOULD - Marilyn DeAnne Mann, 75, of Paragould, passed away peacefully on Feb. 15, 2026, at Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City, where she had resided for the past four years.
Marilyn was born to Ruben Dean Richardson and Dorothy Whitney Hampton. She grew up in the Schugtown community and graduated from Greene County Tech in 1968. In 1969, she married the love of her life, Donald "Donnie" Mann. Together, they built a life filled with devotion and family in Lake City and Paragould, sharing 46 wonderful years of marriage before his passing.
Marilyn dedicated her career to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She worked at Ridgecrest Nursing Home and Lakeside Nursing Home, where she was known for her compassion, strong work ethic, and the genuine love she showed to both residents and co-workers. Caring for others was not just her profession, it was her calling.
She was an exceptional cook and baker, famous among family and friends for her delicious meals and beautifully crafted wedding cakes. Sharing food was one of the many ways Marilyn expressed her love.
Even during her years as a resident at Lakeside Nursing Center, Marilyn's joyful spirit shone brightly. She could often be found dancing, singing, and showering others with affection. She was deeply loved and respected by the staff and her fellow residents, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donnie Mann.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Donna Mann of Jonesboro and Marla Anderson of Paragould (and her partner, Chad Goodman); her grandson, Hunter Wilkerson (Christine) and their daughters, Etta Jane and Charlotte; her granddaughter and devoted caregiver, Meghan Wilkerson (and fiancé, Kyle Price) and their daughters, Madalyn and Sabrina; and her cherished grand furbaby, Zeke.
Marilyn will be remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit, and the love she poured into her family, her work, and her community. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.
