Marilyn Anne Manuel

Marilyn Anne Manuel passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center in Elyria, Ohio. She was born on May 2, 1948 in Elyria, Ohio to the late Robert and Leona (nee Penora) Bungard, Sr.

She met and fell in love with Ernest Manuel and they enjoyed a beautiful marriage for many years prior to his passing in 1995.

Her hobbies were many and included all things crafty that required scissors, paints, glitter and sparkles, especially diamond painting, and enjoyed playing bingo, shopping and traveling. Her love of animals included her three dogs, Rambo, Muffin and Shotzie and her amazement at the beauty and fragility of butterflies.

Marilyn is survived by her siblings Robert Bungard, Jr., Ted (Carol) Bungard, Carolyn Dallas and Annette (Frank) Diederich. Her many nieces and nephews included her sister, Carolyn’s children, Tina, Jack, Randy, Jason and Tony Dallas; her brother, Robert’s children, Aaron and Mark Bungard, and her brother, Ted’s child, Patrick Bungard. Her great nieces and nephews included Aaron Bungard’s children, Zoey and Zane Bungard; and Mark Bungard’s children, Sage and Ayden Bungard.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Leona Bungard, Sr. and her husband, Ernest Manuel.

Friends and family will be welcomed on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home at 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, OH for a Memorial Service from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm with a Funeral Service to be Officiated by Rev. Kurt Dean Walker from 12:30 pm – 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park at 44805 N. Ridge Rd, Amherst, Ohio.
