Marilyn J. Sample

Marilyn J. Sample, 92, of Daphne, AL, formerly of Macungie, PA, passed away at home on March 14, 2025. Her husband, Ernest A. Sample, passed away in 2021. Born in Swampscott, MA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Marjorie (South) Wolfe. She worked as a secretary in the insurance industry for more than 60 years. Marilyn enjoyed flower arranging and dancing to Big Band Music with her husband, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors: Daughters, Debra Curtis and her husband, Alan, and Laurie Schrauger and her husband, Steve; and Grandchildren, Whitney Curtis, Alden Curtis and Jarret Curtis and his wife, Paige. She was preceded in death by a Brother, Ronald Wolfe.
Services: Memorial, Noon Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown, PA. A visitation will be held from 11:30 to Noon Sunday in the funeral home. A celebration of life luncheon will be held following the service. For further details, please contact the family.
