Marilyn E Shepard, 91, of Ft. Pierce, FL went home to the Lord on June 23, 2023 surrounded by her beloved family.
Marilyn was born in Savanah, Georgia to Edmond and Johnie May English on September 18, 1931. After graduating high school, Marilyn attended business school.
While Marilyn called Ft. Pierce, FL her home for 50 years, she lived in Norfolk, VA for 3 years and Jacksonville, NC prior to moving to Florida.
Marilyn loved spending time with her family, she was the proud mother of 7 children, a devoted sibling, and a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Gail Hunter-Hill of Lancaster, SC; sons, James Shepard Jr of Moscow, PA, Tracy Shepard of Metter, GA, Ronald W. Shepard of Matthews, NC and daughter, Rebecca “Jo” Watkins of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, Linda Hicklen of Hubert, NC and brother, Edmond Thomas English of Fayetteville, GA; as well as 10 wonderful grandchildren, and her 8 beautiful great-grandchildren.
Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Shepard, son, Alan Shepard, daughter, Sharon Arnold; 3 sisters, and 1 granddaughter, as well as her dear parents.
A visitation will be held Monday June 26, 2023 from 2PM to 3PM at the Haisley Funeral Chapel 3015 Okeechobee Road Ft. Pierce, FL 34984 with a service to begin at 3PM with a reception to follow at the Haisley Reception Center.
