Marilyn A. Spencer, 92, of Cambridge, MN passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026 at GracePointe Crossing.

She was born March 11, 1933 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Dale and Alice (Brazil) Tweed. Marilyn grew up in Minneapolis, attended school in Columbia Heights, graduating from high school in 1951. She went on to attend business school for nine months. She worked as a secretary at First National Bank in Minneapolis from 1951-1955. Marilyn would move to Cambridge where she worked as a waitress at the American Legion from 1970-1976.

On July 10, 1976 she married Don Spencer in Cambridge and along with her two children completed their family. She worked at Watson Co. Inc in Cambridge and retired from there in 1991. In their retirement, Don and Marilyn spent several winters in Mesa, Arizona.

Marilyn was a member of the Cambridge Legion Women's Auxiliary since 1970. She and Don made trips to Branson, and enjoyed camping all throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Cathy Snider, Diane Franco, and brother Tom Tweed

Marilyn is survived by her husband Don, son Brian Grisham of Braham, daughter Cynthia Grisham (husband Patrick Noonan) of Cambridge, three grandchildren Nick (Trisha) Stilson of Cambridge, Jennifer (Brett) Mahrer of Cambridge, Rebecca (Matt) Cederberg of Dalton, seven great grandchildren Kristina, Cody, Danielle, Jacob, Zachery, Blaine and Charlie, sisters Patricia Saari of Minneapolis, Shirley Louiselle of Minneapolis, Nancy Kroll of Cannon Beach, OR, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service 11AM, Monday, March 2, 2026 at Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment in Cambridge Lutheran Cemetery.
