Marilyn J. Sutherland, age 78, of Longwood, Florida passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
She was born in Millington, Tennessee.
She was a graduate of Bob Jones Academy and attended Bob Jones University.
Marilyn is survived, and will forever be loved and missed, by her Husband Joseph D. Sutherland, daughter, Rachel Boehl; granddaughters, Eliana Boehl and Aurora Boehl, brother, David King, niece, Andrea King, nephew, David King and her mother-in-law, Mildred Marie Sutherland.
Marilyn was a Christian and longtime member of Temple Baptist Church. She was the church pianist for many years and was blessed with a musical talent. She loved singing and serving the Lord in this capacity.
Marilyn was a dedicated, loving wife and mother. For years she ran the office administration for her husbands’s construction business and dedicated her life to raising their daughter.
Despite her long battle with Parkinson’s, she never had a complaint and was a positive light to anyone that knew her.
Marilyn was a selfless, Godly woman. Her love and influence lives on in her surviving family and friends.
