Marilyn was a wonderful person. Always enjoyed talking with her. Marilyn was a family friend of my husband´s family and my family. She was very knowledgeable with the town of Daytons history. Always loved to her stories.

I remember Marilyn from my childhood days at Vacation Bible School, or when our Dayton and Perrysburg Churches would do cooperative projects together. I remember her as a humble, kind woman of God, a human worthy of emulating. I am sure that Jesus said to her, "Well done, my good and faithful disciple."

Spending time at Aunt Marilyn´s is such a big part of my growing up memories. Sleeping outside under the trees, running upstairs to jump into bed with a warm brick wrapped in a towel on a cold winter night, camping at Alpine Lake, singing with Emmy and Becky during church in Cottage, and so much more.
Most importantly, though, because of her constant faith, I came to know God´s great love for me and the saving grace of my Savior, Jesus Christ. Without that, life would have no purpose, but with that, I know I will one day see Aunt Marilyn again in the home Jesus has promised to prepare. Thanks be to God!!
