Marilyn Walton Obituary

Marilyn was born on January 6, 1950 the daughter of Forest Ray and Margaret Violet (Williams) Cadwallader of Lafayette. She attended Klondike High School and in 1967 married James Fischer, they divorced in 1981. On June 25, 1988 Marilyn married Joseph V. Walton in West Lafayette and he survives.
Marilyn was a gifted professional cook with the ability to cook for two or two hundred people with ease. She had a strong work ethic and owned and operated Sisters Country Grill with her husband Joe for 13 years in addition to her regular work. In 2009 she retired from Greentree Assisted Living in West Lafayette.
Besides cooking and baking, Marilyn loved her pets and enjoyed mushroom hunting, gardening, camping, and crafts but she especially loved her family. She was proud to be a loving grandmother and great grandmother. Marilyn touched every person she met with her grace, caring and the warmth of her loving heart, always looking to help someone in need.
Marilyn was proceeded in death by her parents, brother Michael Cadwallader, sister Susan Hurt and her twin sister Carolyn Boes (Ron). Marilyn is survived by her husband Joe, sons Michael Fischer, Aaron Fischer (Paula), grandchildren Zoie Dunbar (Alex), Kira, Piper and Tanner Fischer, Kortnee Purgett and four great grandchildren.
Marilyn is deeply loved and missed by her family, especially her husband Joe, but will forever be remembered for her remarkable radiant love and kindness. May god bless you and keep you always.
A private entombment surrounded by family will take place at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens 1718 W 350 N West Lafayette In 47906.
