Survived by her children Catherine, Linda (Dave) Vonhold, Dawn (Al) Piccolo and Christopher; grandchildren Jared Russell, Jessica Russell (Matthew Holland), Ashley (Jason Ritter); great grandchildren Dylan, Noah, Madison, Jaxsyn, Nathan & Ryan; nieces Sue, Cindy & Jennifer; nephew Norman; brother & Sister in Law David & Mary Eick. Predeceased by her husband Charles; parents Ruth & Lloyd Mickielsen; uncle Rusty & aunt Ruthie Rusk, uncle Harold & aunt Marie; brother and sister in-law Donald and Patricia Eick; nieces, Betsy, Donna; inLaws Norman & Laura Eick along with several distant cousins.

Mom loved to travel when she could, especially to locations surrounded by nature. She loved Canada, especially Snug Harbor, Niagara Falls & Banff, along with Key West, Florida, Naples, Letchworth & Watkins Glen, NY. As a Girl Scout leader she enjoyed camping trips in the 60s & 70s. Mom loved crossword puzzles, reading books & magazines, homemade meals, going for walks with her dogs Nicki & Luke, feeding foxes, chipmunks & other wildlife in Canada, along with raising many dogs & cats over the years. Mom's jobs were mainly secretarial including Bell Aerospace in Niagara Falls, Pediatrician, Dr Cenie Cafarelli, Eye Surgeon Dr Donald Grover plus others over the years. Mom was dedicated to supporting the Medical Field and always stressed the importance of good nutrition.

Friends and family may call to honor both Marilynn and Charles Eick THURSDAY October 23rd from 4-7 at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Rd. S., Rochester, NY 14623. Click HERE to view Charles' obituary.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 (WEBSITE), or a local animal rescue facility of your choice. In addition we ask that anyone with extra time please volunteer or adopt an elderly person at the Hurlbut Nursing Home or the Nursing Home of your choice.
