Passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, at Edgewood Manor. Age 91 years.
The daughter of the late Verna Olive (Sommers) and Chester Foster was born November 11, 1933, in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Stafford G. Trinklein Sr. on December 3, 1949. He passed away April 11, 2018. She assisted her husband on the farm and was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed collecting antiques, baking and cooking.
Surviving are her children, Stafford G. Trinklein Jr. and his wife, Julie, Saginaw; Donna Clapp; Patricia Watson and her husband, Edwin, Hemlock; a daughter-in-law, Denise Trinklein, Saginaw; her grandchildren, Lisa (Justin) Deary, Ron (Tara) Clapp Jr, Scott Trinklein, Adam (Angie) Trinklein, David Trinklein, Anna (Matt) Hoffman, Leslie Brady, Tammy Watson, Heather (Michael) Deutsch; her great-grandchildren, Adalyn, Austin, Aidan, Carlei, Tyler, Lilie, Kiley, Kaeden, Brendan, Dylan, Krew and Grant; a great great-grandson, Parker; a sister-in-law, Joan Trinklein. She was predeceased by her husband, parents and a son, John Trinklein, a daughter Brenda Swan and a grandson, Kurt Watson.
Cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Hemlock or American Hospice. Mrs. Trinklein’s family wish to thank American Hospice and Rachel Harrington and the staff and caregivers at Edgewood Assisted Living for their excellent care, help and concern.
