Marilynn Williams

Marilynn Williams 68, of Covert was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on December 23, 2025. Born from the union of Willie and Myrtle Jones in Merigold Mississippi. United in marriage to the late Steven Williams.

Marilynn is survived by siblings; Gracy (Junior) Andrews of Covert Michigan, Inez (Jake) Gaines, of South Bend Indiana, Rosie (Anthony) Davis of Covert, Michigan, Zeak Jones Jr of San Diego California, Mary (John) Palmer of Lithnia Georgia, Rachel (John) Thompson of Jackson Mississppi, Larry Jones of Wanatch , Washington, Isaac Jones of Japan , Lance (Gwendolyn) Jones of Madison Mississippi and a host of Aunts, Uncles , Nieces and Nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Steven Williams and sister Magnolia Holmes.

Marilynn was a member of Gospel Tabernacle Church. She worked for UPS as a sorter for 21 years. She was a people person. She loved to talk and help people especially the poor. She was a coin collector and plant person who had many plants in her home. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Wake for Marilynn will take place on Friday January 9, 2026 from 11 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Service at 12 p.m. at Gospel Tabernacle Church, 32605 M-140 Covert, Michigan 49043. Pastor Henry Allen will officiate.
