The World just lost "A Hell of a Good Guy" and I was Fortunate enough to have shared "31" years with him.
My Beautiful Husband, Mario Joseph Blanco, 69 of the 400 block of Jule Dr., Chesapeake, passed away on October 17, 2024. He put up a Strong Fight against his Esophageal cancer. He was from Long Island New York, and was the son of the late Mario Joseph Blanco Sr. and Margaret Comito Blanco.
Mario was the most Kindest & Gentlest Soul you could have ever met. He was full of Life and had a Contagious Smile. He loved his children more than Life itself and was "Oh, so Very Proud of them". Mario was an amazing friend and gave everyone the "Benefit of the Doubt 100 times over". There's nothing he wouldn't do to help anyone. In addition to his parents, Mario was preceded in death by his daughter Raven Blanco. Survivors include his wife Robin Ann Blanco, his daughter Fallon Blanco(Drew), son Mario Blanco, III (Katie), his sister Maria Blanco and niece Margaret Blanco, as well as his nephew, Phoenix Cunha, and many other nieces, nephews cousins and an Aunt. Mario has been a contractor for over 30 years as well has been dabbling in the music business and having a Studio. Mario also loved his New York Yankees and New York Giants There are so many things I could share with you about my husband. It would be like a Beautiful Novel, but I'm just going to leave it here.
Funeral service will be conducted 1 PM Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Chesapeake Chapel of HD Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1416 Cedar Rd. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery Norfolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM.
