It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mario Caligiuri on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the age of 71.
Born on August 6, 1953, in Italy, Mario was the beloved son of the late Luigi and Orsolina Caligiuri. He spent his early years surrounded by family and tradition before moving to Australia and eventually immigrating to the United States as a teenager. His life was a testament to hard work, determination, and love. Over the years, Mario held many roles a proud union iron worker, a successful deli owner, and a talented builder of beautiful custom homes. His intelligence, kindness, and tireless work ethic touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Mario was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Susan, sharing nearly 49 and a half wonderful years of marriage. He was a proud and loving father to his two sons, Gino and Mario (wife Eliza), and his twin daughters, Angelique and Victoria. Mario is also survived by his brother Tony and his wife Denise, his sister Teresa and her husband Lino, and many cherished nieces and nephews. His warmth and generosity extended far beyond his immediate family, as he was deeply loved by a large circle of extended family and friends.
Mario was a truly special person someone who never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Very Dear Caligiuri Family.
We deeply share your loss and are extremely sad that such a wonderful human being was taken from us.
Mario's ebullient demeanor was wonderful, remarkable, and wise.
He was always fun to be with, no matter how challenging the topics under discussion.
He was an extraordinary and very thoughtful contributor to Condo 29 of Heritage Hills in many major ways.
We miss him very much. We remember best Mario, beaming, with Susan, happily marching around the neighborhood.
