It is not hard to describe Mario, by far the most unique person I've met in my life. You couldn't help to hate him and to love him at the same time, his character and personality were that of a strong willed warrior, who fought the disadvantages that came at him in life, and superseded them all, until now. He welcomed challenges with a big smile as though nothing could bring him down. Don Mario, he was called by the younger generation, and he welcomed it with gladness in his heart. Mario always had a great ability to make good friends, and stay in contact with them for life. Those who know Mario know he appeared coqui, prejudiced, "I am prejudiced to all, even my own" he often said. But truthfully he was not, his greatest desire was to push people to be better in their trade, to cause enough chaos that people reassessed the quality of the work they performed, expand their abilities and have pride in their work; whether it be work or hobby; Just as he did, studied and practiced without ceasing for work or hobby (whatever these may be), until he outperformed his own expectations. An influencer, Facebook called him, blocked him more times than I can remember, and he found gladness in that. When he wanted something he went for it, and did not give up. I should know. He loved his family above himself, willing to go through trial and tribulation for his children without regret. He would go hungry for the week to get one of his children the shoes he was asked for. He understood what giving it all meant.

He was born in Guadalajara Mexico, a true Tapatio, almost just as the character we saw in the Pedro Infante movies growing up. And literally crossed the river at the age of 6 into the USA that he loved so much. "A true wetback" he called himself. During his teens he visited Mexico during the summers, where he met family and friends that impacted his perspective in life, He was most proud of his paternal grandfather, and frankly all his grandparents. He attended San Bernardino schools, including San Bernardino High School with a 4.0 GPA. where he's trouble making abilities got him expelled, those who were there in 1992 should remember the event with a smile, (maybe). Graduated from San Andreas High school, and attended Redlands University where he aimed to mayor in the medical field, that is until a very tempting offer came along to travel to Spain for a couple of years, Mario worked in Automobile Mechanics for a short time in his younger years, but dedicated his life to construction, it was his passion. From his teens until the last day he could stand on his own he worked on what he loved doing. Mario quickly became the beacon of his entire family and many of his friends who looked at him for advice and friendship. Mario's most prized achievements were his 3 children, first born Noemi, strong personality beauty who with the deepest pain in his heart, had to see depart to Mexico with her mother at a very young age; Markus, Mario's mini-me, Strong willed but gentle and amiable boy who is just becoming a great man; and Arianny, a beautiful storm who is secure and daring, just like her papa. Mario also leaves behind his wife Angelica, who he loved throughout the years from his youth. His Parents Carmen and Armando, and his siblings, Alma, Jesse, Celia and Rachel, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and godchildren, who cherished spending time with him, and sought him for advice. One thing we his family cannot deny, is the depth of love he had for us, and if given the choice, he would have spared us the pain of his departure. However we can almost hear him say. "see you guys later crazies" So until we reach heaven ourselves, see you later, we will miss you like crazy, Crazy.
