Mario Manetta
1933 – February 9, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mario Manetta, who left this world on February 9, 2025, at the age of 91. Mario was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished grandfather, and a man of remarkable skill, determination, and kindness.
Born in Italy, Mario immigrated to the United States with dreams of a better life. Though he spoke in broken English, his will and perseverance spoke volumes. A man of boundless talent, he had an uncanny ability to fix anything, from cars to the newest technology. His hands were never idle, always busy creating, repairing, and innovating.
Mario was deeply loved by his wife, Phyllis, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and unwavering devotion. He was the proud father of Roseann, Thomas, Lisa and Joe who passed in 2020, each of whom inherited his strength and determination. His children's spouses adored him, cherishing the wisdom and warmth he brought into their lives.
Above all, Mario treasured his role as a grandfather. He found immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren, sharing stories, teaching them life skills, and capturing their precious moments through his beloved camera lens. His wisdom, humor, and unwavering support made him a guiding light in their lives.
Beyond his technical talents, Mario had a passion for photography. With a camera in hand, he captured the world through his unique lens, preserving moments of joy, love, and beauty. His curiosity for the latest technology kept him forever young at heart.
Mario was also a man of deep faith. His devotion to God guided his life, shaping his values of kindness, humility, and generosity. He was always willing to help others, never expecting anything in return. Whether it was a neighbor in need, a friend facing a challenge, or a stranger seeking guidance, Mario gave his time, effort, and wisdom freely. He truly embodied the spirit of compassion and love.
Mario's legacy is one of faith, perseverance, and selflessness. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those whose lives he touched.
