Mario Morquecho Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cochran Funeral Home - Livingston on Aug. 6, 2024.
Mario Isaiah Morquecho went to be with our Lord in Heaven on July 25, 2024, at the age of 24, unexpectedly, along with his uncle, Brian Tamburello, doing what they love. Mario was born on December 20, 1999 to Angela Tamburello Maul and Mario De La Cruz Morquecho in Kingwood, Texas. He graduated from Hill Country High School in 2017. Then joined the military and served in the U.S. Army at Fort Benning and Fort Campbell. He currently lived in Harper, Texas and worked with his Uncle Brian in the exotic wildlife industry.
He loved life to the fullest. Loved his family and spending time with them. There was never a dull moment for all who were around him. He was always fun to be around, joking and making one laugh. We should all live a little more like him. In the last few years he took on a true love for hunting. His Uncle Brian took him bear and alligator hunting, along with other hunts and fishing. He began to have a passion for animals and loved caring for them.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Angela Tamburello Maul and stepfather Joseph Maul of Humble, Texas; father, Mario Morquecho of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Kali Morquecho Neal and husband Nathan Neal of Kyle, Texas; sister, Victoria Maul of Humble, Texas; stepsister, Ella Maul; stepbrothers, Jack and Jake Maul of Humble, Texas; and longtime girlfriend, Sarah Hoffman of Harper, Texas; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, Lyndon Tamburello and Peggy Meadors Tamburello, Alberto Morquecho and Pauline De La Cruz Morquecho.
Mario will be deeply missed by all. Now you are in heaven hunting and fishing with grandpa and Uncle Brian and grandma is spoiling you rotten again.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Caleb Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Feagin Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, August 9, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
