Kymberly Morquecho Obituary
Born on October 31, 1989 in Harvey, Illinois, Kymberly was the oldest of five children. She is survived by her parents Rosalio Sr. and Kimberly Morquecho, her brothers Alex (Dulce), Rosalio, and sister Megan. She was a loving aunt to Christian and Remi. She is preceded in death by her brother William Morquecho.
Kym was a 2008 graduate of Rowe High School, where she later returned to teach English for nine years. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and taught dual enrollment through South Texas College. She had recently been accepted into the University of Massachusetts Ph.D program of Rhetoric & Composition and was to begin her studies this fall.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and witty charisma. She brought warmth and laughter wherever she went. Her life, though far too short, was filled with love, purpose, and the deep connections to those she loved.
Funeral services are being handled by Ceballos Funeral Home. Details regarding services will be shared with family and friends in the coming days.

My deepest condolences for the Morquecho family, wishing you strength and peace. I worked with Kymberly at Nikki Rowe High School, was happy for her journey on to further her studies in Massachusetts. I was saddened to hear of her passing. Her beaming personality taught me to live, laugh, and love. That´s something I will not forget. Rest in peace my dear friend!

Kym, thank you for the gift of your friendship. Losing you leaves a void in my life, and I'll miss you more than words can say. You possessed such a gentle and kind heart. I remember how you were initially cautious with new people, and it meant the world to me that you trusted me enough to truly let me in. The memories we created will stay with me always, and I'm heartbroken by all the new ones we won't get to make. I love you, Kym, and I hold onto the hope of seeing you again.
